Workplace communications, community outreach, government offices, police departments, news outlets both independent and not, the applications of Twitter are almost literally endless in the modern world. And also completely inconsequential. It's comfortable, and old, like a home on the web where you can talk to the world in the blink of an eye. Not to mention all the numbers application tie ins that I would likely die of old age trying to list before I got anywhere. But it can all be summed up with one word: Twitter does information. All shit that has been done by every titan of the Internet, each time bigger.
