I'll probably just start with a Hero's Secret run like you said, but I'm not sure which game I'll start with yet or if I'll give myself all of the rings from the start or not. I really recommend just getting all the rings. Planting some gasha trees, killing like 40 enemies, then going around to get rings from the trees is tedious. As well as running into Maple and hoping she drops her rings. Or grinding out Goron dancing or Target minecart or Subrosian dancing, etc for hours.
