Also no that's ridiculous I'm the complete opposite. I spent my whole entire childhood and part of adulthood not knowing I had been diagnosed with autism. My mother was not forthcoming about it and I wondered why I had such difficulty in school and getting along with other kids.

If less people were ashamed of it and more people knew and understood autism then maybe people on the spectrum would be more accepted. I can't stand those people who think because I have autism that I'm stupid.
