Everyone has seen the phenomenon. Great comedy movies get a sequel years later. Nobody asked for it, there's no heart left in it, there's no reasonable loose ends to tie up. Sometimes it's bad but ignorable, like Anchorman 2. Sometimes it's insultingly awful, like Joe Dirt 2. And occasionally it's a decent enough movie if you let it stand alone, like Evan Almighty.

The point of this topic is to try to make the most of a bad thing. You post, and I'll assign you a comedy movie that hasn't yet gotten this treatment. Your job is then to come up with a basic plot that you think could turn out decent with your dream budget, casting, and director. Maybe include a couple jokes if you're up for it.

If there's a movie you really don't want to do, let me know and I'll skip it for at least a while. I'll try to give you a movie that shares an actor or theme with it though.
