The counter lady seemed puzzle srhey did this and asked if we wanted her to get us a waiter or waitress and we said no then left. It was really fuckin odd and I'm sure we didn't smell or look homeless or anything like that. It was just odd. Never went back to that IHOP ever again. It could have been as simple as a shift change and a mix up on who had what tables.
