Plan on doing my write up for Impel Down/Marineford soon.

Looks like theyre finally about to reach Fishman Island.

So far, post-time skip Im liking the direction of most of the characters, and Ive liked the moments where theyve each gotten to show off a little of what theyve learned/how strong theyve gotten over the past 2 years.

You all know what Im bout to say next tho.

How did they manage to make Sanji even more gross and annoying. Like, hes confirmed transphobic now, is even more obsessed with women to a literally dehabilitating degree, and also, frankly, his training arc makes the least sense of any of the crew. He just spent the last 2 years running away from drag queens and trans people? And that somehow made him stronger? And I guess there was something about a special dish they had that he may have learned how to make, but as of now that was pretty glossed over.

Ugh, I hate him. Only crew member I hate rn, everyone else fucking rocks.

Even the other perv characters like Franky and Brook are so much better developed cause thats not their entire personality. Franky especially I wouldnt even call a perv necessarily, hes just a bit of an exhibitionist.

I do love that he got fucking nipple lights installed on himself, I fucking love Franky.

Only other character complaint I have so far is I dont like how much theyve dumbed down Chopper. Like, yeah, I get it, hes naive. But hes not an idiot, hes a fucking doctor. And they also keep trying to paint him as a weakling, but weve seen him go fucking ham multiple times before. I love Chopper, but I dont love the direction theyve been taking him.
