They also probably look down on sex workers and claim that, no matter what they say, they don't enjoy their work and are being exploited whether they accept it or not. It's not a profession where everything is regulated and above board, nah, they're all poor drug-addled single mothers forced to sell their bodies to make their abusive pimp richer. Like in the movies! Some of that does happen, and there are definitely studios to avoid if you're concerned about abuse. Even without genuinely abusive studios, performers are often pressured to do things that aren't in their contract and that they aren't comfortable with because refusing will make it harder to find more work. There are definitely people working in the industry that just genuinely love what they do, and have little if any limits on what they are willing to do.
