What advice would you give someone with a BS in Accounting who's looking to get into an entry level Accounting position? Keep applying. There is a shortage of accountants because people are retiring and no one wants to really wants to go into accounting. Also if you get a message from someone in LinkedIn about an accounting position- listen to that person to see what they have to say. I got my current job through a Linkedin recruiter that I was not expecting. I still get messages from Linkedin recruiters from time to time even though I am currently fine with my job.
