There's just a lot of fun characters (Dr Grigori, Dog, etc.) and moments (shooting buzz saws, using the Ant Lions, super gravity gun). The weapons feel good (aside from the assault rifle). You feel like you go on a journey, I enjoyed the story telling, there's a good amount of variety, and enough changes of pace to keep things interesting.
