If it turns out that the truth is "he decided to step away due to his age and/or trouble with his voice", then I feel like that's exactly what they'll say in the video and we will know the real truth. I just hope that you (or other internet people) won't stick to some conspiracy theory where you claim that whatever they say in the video isn't true.

if it's his health that would explain a lot. i'm sure there's a lot of people a lot more committed to the theories than me and they can fight those fights. like I said before, I was just sharing some coincidences I found really interesting.

i am now old enough to not waste my time dying on imaginary internet hills or get worked up over "why did Charles Martinet retire?" what would my future kids think if they thought I cared passionately about "why did Charles Martinet retire?"
