Topic	Would DeSantis be leading if Trump wasn't running?

There wouldn't be nearly as much animosity towards DeSantis from MAGA, but he would still be the least charismatic candidate in the field and still facing the realization that his gimmicks and stunts don't play as well outside of Florida. His biggest problem though imo is that the field would likely have several other credible candidates who sat this one out of fear of angering Dear Leader. K181 posted... He might have a slight early polling edge due to name recognition, but I'm convinced that once the debates started and media focus really began, his numbers would plummet.
