On top of that, I'll also add (and remind) how we know traffic stops and speed traps are targeted against the people least able to afford them and even less able to afford to show up in court and contest them.

Speed traps are targeted against people who are speeding. Do you honestly believe that cops at speed traps are going well I would have pulled that one over but its a nice car and going back to waiting for somebody who looks poor?

It's never been about deterring bad behavior, or they wouldn't be hidden when they're doing this.

This is just nonsense but if your argument is that speed traps are only about punishment then my response would be okay. People who excessively speed should be caught and punished. Their license being revoked would be a great way to deter them from further speeding.
