Ya, Just North of the Washington Bridge it is considered Route 9.
If you follow it all the way up when it get to my town it is called Broadway again.
Which as far as I can tell wasn't planned. And we are talking a town that only got it's start once the French and Indian War and The Revolution ended.

Broadway in Manhattan.

I would never want to live* there, though visiting is great. The diversity of cuisines is stellar.

First time I had authentic Szechuan cuisine was here.

It's really what made me jump into making my own, Szechuan chili oil and making Mapo Tofu. I should really revisit some of the other recipes such as the wontons drowning in chili oil were really good. Hot pot sounds good too.

*(Too expensive, too dirty, too many nut jobs, crime and people doing weird things like pooping on the sidewalk)
Mapo tofu is delicious. Haven't had it in a while. Have you had dry hot pot? I think almost prefer it to regular hot pot. The crime is blown out of proportion and pooping on the sidewalk? Lol where did you go?

"SUMMIT One" at One Vanderbilt, which is kind of a combination of observation decks, mirror maze, and art installation.
The Whitney (modern art museum)
The High Line (as mentioned above: elevated train tracks converted to a linear park)
Ate lots of 99c Pizza
All pretty sweet spots. Can't go wrong with dollar slice.
