Yeah that's true. What's actually different is the original scene highlights Luffy's stubbornness by essentially forcing Zoro to join him in exchange. Not terribly important, as there can be lots of ways to show this, but a lot of times Luffy almost forces the crew to join. He's very insistent when Sanji and Chopper refuse. It's a detail I like.
