The problem with the Ohio measure is that Republicans got tricky and kept the same name/number on it from earlier in the summer.

* In August, there was a vote on Issue 1, which was about raising the voting percentage from 50%+1 to 60% to change the state constitution. This was a measure that Democrats wanted to vote NO (and did)
* In November, we are once again voting on Issue 1, but THIS time it's about enshrining a woman's right to an abortion into the state constitution. THIS time, Democrats want to vote YES

Republicans in state congress purposely kept the same name/number to cause confusion among voters
oh, did not know this info. Why do you think they keep trying to push this stuff through. most of the people donn't want this
