If the changes he makes are enough to make the message board users go away it's not a loss because most users of the site are just here the faqs. More people visit every day to look up the FAQs than post on the message boards. Losing around 1700 posters isn't a loss when over 10,000 people don't use this site for the message boards. He can get rid of all the social boards and still win. He owns Fandom and Gamefaqs! HE WON! he doesn't really need the site's traffic to be able to feed his 2 daughters and 1 son. The flaw with this thinking is that the people using the message boards are using the site for longer periods of time and actively clicking through pages at a far faster rate, which prompts more ads to appear, which results in more money for GameFAQs Message board users may be the minority as far as overall population but I'm willing to bet they drive a hell of a lot more revenue than FAQ users <cite>TMOG posted [p:975882412] in Our new ad...
