Its not irrelevant since it helped to ratchet up the practice of sending them to NYC. Florida has the largest population of cubans and other migrants that came here legally since the 70's. So no its not irrelevant in the least.

Texas has an excess budget of showing it to be at least $27 billion, and possibly as high as $35 billion. They haven't or refuse to use and that many there use as their personal slush funds. So they have more than enough you don't know what you are talking about.

It's the border that's funded by the federal government. All other aid goes to the NGOs down there. Not Texas itself.

Again surplus of billions in the double digits that is likely much higher than reported. They don't have the right because they refuse the right to house and opt to have the right to repel them instead. Housing market surplus where people are complaining billions should be given back to home owners.

Texas has only sent 13k as of today, so Texas is irrelevant here when the amount here is 110k. Texas also does not have a right to shelter law like NYC does. They are immediately released after the initial stuff. It's the NGOs that help with their housing.

Eh from the official statements on it:

approximately 104,000 migrants, asylum-seekers and refugees who have arrived in New York City since the spring of 2022 A large proportion of them have come through the border in Texas, where Gov. Greg Abbott began sending people by bus to New York and other Democratic-run cities last summer.

They are approximated number. Abbot refuses to give them an accurate roster or notice of arrival to help coordinate. So yeah he is the biggest part of the problem and making it impossible to adequately coordinate. Nyc already has a housing crisis before he sent them which he knew and did on purpose.

He says its around 13,000 and we all know he can be relied on for accuracy right?

It's fine to blame the Republicans since they're complicit as well, but most of the reforms that the Democrats have wanted have always included millions in amnesty, which they know that no Republican is gonna ok.

You mean for legal migrants who came seeking asylum under threat of death or crippling bodily harm? Heaven forbid we assume the party of pro life, family values, would might want to grant asylum to brown or black migrants. That's just going way too far.
