There is precisely zero reason why someone your age should try to bend themselves to form into the social lexicon of 2-3 generations ahead. What is your goal here? I've worked in the restaurant industry for almost 20 years now and every batch of waiters/waitresses/managers who are 18-21 might as well be aliens to me. I just be myself, am honest and reliable and tend to not put my nose in their business. Everyone either respects me or leaves me alone.

I've worked with plenty of "you" before, too, and it's always cringe every time. You need to keep a radar on for what people your age perceive of you, too, when you go around saying "No cap," "That's mid" or "On God' etc because it looks like you have ulterior motives. Every time.

I'd rather jump off a building then hang out with a bunch of zoomers after work. Best case scenario it's completely socially awkward, worst case scenario is you're gettting drunk or doing drugs with a bunch of kids? Nah.
