Its sad what CNN has devolved into

The other day on their chyron it said something like "...who alleges Donald Trump raped her in the 90s..."

Two things that stood out to me.

1) For some reason they didn't say E Jean Carrol's name even though her defamation case has been settled in her favor and this new one is merely to determine how much Trump pays her (she wants 10m), so it just seems odd that they wouldn't name her as if this were some new case and she wanted to hide her identity, even though she wants this known to the public. While I don't remember the entire chyron, I do specifically recall that her name was absent from it.

2) The fact that they used the word "alleges", even though Trump was found guilty (or is it liable for civil cases?) of sexual assault and the judge later elaborated that "sexual assault is rape". The reason our media uses "alleges" is because a court case hasn't been settled so it would be biased to call an accused anything other than accused and refer to their alleged crimes. But if someone is found guilty or liable, then still labeling it as "alleged/s" seems like actively spreading misinformation meant to distort reality for their viewers.

I haven't found CNN respectable at all for years, but at the gym the only 2 news stations they have is Faux News and CNN and I'm sure as fuck not gonna spend my cardio watching fascists spew their alternate reality propaganda. So it was disappointing seeing them on the same level as Faux News.
