I started not long ago as well and just broke into Pool 3, when I was still in Pool 2 I was flying up the ranks with an Infinaut deck (hell its still winning a bunch even in early pool 3 with no adjustments despite how telegraphed it is) but fairly bog standard Zoo decks or Dino decks should also carry you pretty easily through Pool 2. Once you break into Pool 3 you'll just need to see what kind of cards you pull early and hope you get something you can build around, youll also unlock the ability to claim 1 free pool 3 card every season once you reach pool 3 so you can scope those out and try to scoop up one that is build defining (the choice rotates every 8 hours so with some patience you should get something good eventually) ...
