Unfortunately, the way that RPGs go now, SaGa is a product of the Super Famicon days. I mean, compare the lifetime of SaGa Frontier and the lifetime Final Fantasy 7 I have played SaGa Frontier way more than 7, but the narrative style of SaGa is at odds with the more theatric presentation of modern JRPGS (IMO) --- Kill anyone who gets in the way...
