I only really use Ultimate Armor X on X6 at this point. And that's the 5% of the time I didn't instantly pick Zero.

Also since this is the last of the sprite-based X games, are you going to try X challenge?

blade armor is alright. when you air dash you stop in the air and have limited invincibility til you let go of the dash button or hold it for five seconds. i used the shadow armor on my first playthrough way back on anniversary collection and had some fun with it since you stick to walls, have spike invincibility, cling to ceilings, and you go full ninja with shuriken instead of regular buster shots.
