Cochlear implants/hearing for the first time Colorblind people getting Enchroma glasses/seeing color for the first time. Servicemen and servicewomen returning from deployments. Pets reunited with owners after long periods apart. New grandparents meeting their new grandbabies for the first time. Children finding out that they're being adopted. Pets being adopted from shelters/anything from The Dodo. It's good for us, I feel.
