I do like Aerith a lot, and she is also one of my backups, but it was pretty clear from the discord and the post topic conversations that she just didn't have the juice this year. For as much as people complain about her strength, the "not Aerith" crowd was pretty clearly bigger than the "yes please Aerith" crowd. Maybe next year will be better but she was going to get anti-voted like crazy this year. Yeah I figured, I wonder how many more users were like that... though I always had the impression that the vocal haters wouldn't vote her under almost any circumstances anyways, like the only way to get swordz supporting her is if Cecil makes the finals for example, though probably Donkey Kong there eh, lol. But I'm probably still underestimating the discord situation, plus being personally biased here obviously. Ideally this year burns off some of that animosity. LiquidOshawott posted...
