Yeah TC to be clear, what I meant was taking the cable that goes from your computer to your monitor, unplugging it from the horizontal port, and plugging it into the vertical one. There should be multiple HDMI ports on the back. But no offense I doubt you diagnosed it correctly if you didn't know how to do that. Looks like there's only one monitor port on this model.
