Feinstein was from a reliably Democratic state with a Democratic governor so it's like w.e. even if she should have stepped down years ago it doesn't appear to currently fuck anyone over

She did some amazing things but Obama basically pled with her to step down during his administration so that he could appoint a younger judge that shared her views. She refused and with the obstructionist Republicans in 2015 and beyond it led directly to the SC set up we have today that's fucking over a ton of policies
