They could have been a student, and those people practically live out in their cars. The probability that a delivery driver just happened to have lined paper, AND thought "I should scoop all of the food out, but in a very hasty and messy manner, which makes it very obvious I scooped the food out," AND thought "I should write in large, legible writing, so a camera can pick it up" seems incredibly, incredibly suspect. Seems much more likely that somebody against tipping culture ate their food, then decided "I should fake something for my message," and was too dumb to realize how fake it'd actually look. EDIT: Actually, to be fair, I shouldn't say they were dumb. It's possible they just thought the internet was dumb enough to run with whatever they said, and not even remotely scrutinize it.
