Acoustic and electric guitars, always a good combo for an arrange. This melody is also very cool! I'll say it's a bit standard, but I enjoy it. Let's see.... ouch, I forget the original Proto Man whistle hurts my ears. This melody is very iconic though; it even feels out of place for the franchise, but still welcome in. I enjoy how long it lasts too, gives it more value. I think these two are in the same level, I'll take Ending out of more familiarity, but FT is welcome with open arms should it win.

To be perfectly honest I wasn't expecting MM9 to get represented in Smash, and this is one of the best remixes of the game period. The band style just adapt so well to an already great melody, and the solo section is amazing too. Hard to dislike it really, it's so good. On the other hand, we have a really upbeat theme here. This song struck me the most when playing 4, very memorable melody and the third bit keeps up the energy of the first very well. Another ridiculously stacked match, but I'll walk like a egyptian today.
