It was so huge at one time that some post offices would have a specific bin for Netflix DVDs. Nowadays nothing even comes close to an all inclusive subscription of movies. It was nice having a way to watch new movies without having to sub to multiple streaming services now that everyone has to have one. I remember being told I couldn't see end game without disney+, but I received a DVD from netflix just fine.
