Making pancakes from scratch takes like 5 ingredients, all of them extremely common kitchen staples (with the possible exception of baking powder, but one small jar of baking powder takes up less space than the multiple boxes of pancake mix it can replace), and they taste significantly better. Yeah. My mom always uses the mix, while I never bother with the stuff. Not sure what they do to the stuff to make it taste so bad, but it's cardboard compared to the fluffy sweet stuff an extra couple minutes gives you. --- I am awesome and so are you.
