There's no reason it can't be about animation in general. the topic was a grand total of one sentence in length when you originally posted, so why not move it in any direction? What's your favourite animation, either film or show? Mine's between Paprika, Mind Game, and Redline

That's my problem with a lot of modern animated series, they lean too far into whatever the target demo is and kinda ignore everyone else. At least with the 90s cartoons they were geared towards kids, but had writing that adults could appreciate.
Maybe that's a thing with the times, because everything is so easily accessible it makes more sense to make t hings hyper-oriented towards kids, or adults, or whatever rather than taking the time to craft something that goes beyond generations.
