GameFAQs ads are tailered to the experience of its members. So the next time you see a weird ad like this, just know it's because of the search histories of CE. That's some urban legend that isn't as true as people think it is. It's true for many product ads (especially Amazon), but most ads just go for general demographics ("male, 30ish"), and many others just spread out everywhere they can do it for cheap. Many of them don't even aim for the user specifically, but the site they are embedded on (so, not Karovorak is a 30ish man, but GameFAQs is visited by mostly 30ish men). Like, I just opened my ad invested local newspaper without ad block on, and I got some ads about medical skin issues and cars.
