| Topic | How do you feel about the US state Iowa? |

It doesnt bother me much these days as Im 47 and prefer the boring lackadaisical lifestyle but drive me nuts when I was younger which is why I left and went in the military and got out of here for awhile.
Geographically Im not crazy about all the farmland. I dont find the beauty in it others do. I just find it flat and plain. We get 4 seasons but summers are hot and humid and winters can be brutal cold with windchill and blizzards. Its cheap cost of living, reasonable housing, access to farm fresh foods and excellent meat. Its nice knowing exactly where your food comes from. I make decent money, especially compared to cost of living and am on track to retire fairly early and live comfortably. I dont hate Iowa but dont love it either.
