Okay, some people may not like this style of argument, but I was reading through Topic two again and noticed that Corrik was the one who brought up Sultan's role having the 24 hour condition on it, when no one else questioned or interpreted it that way before.

Sultan's last post in Topic 1 was #414, at 12:21:19 EST.
Corrik asks Sultan a clarifying question Topic 2 #26, at 2:23:55 EST.
Sultan immediately responds Topic 2 #27, at 2:25:41 EST.

The obvious narrative I'm painting here is that maybe Corrik and Sultan discussed Sultan's fake claim on the scum board, and Sultan for some silly reason replied immediately in topic when he hadn't been active at all for the last couple hours. Could just be coincidence that he happened to be in topic when it happened.

The other alternative line of questioning, is it odd that Corrik saw that where no one else did? I can imagine a scumCorrik/townSultan world where Corrik maybe has some additional knowledge of scum powers that made him think Sultan hadn't told the entire truth of his action.

Both of these lines of thoughts lead me to lean scum on Corrik. To be clear this is not just OMGUS because he's going after me. I noted before that Corrik being active D1 was different from the last two games I remember from him. If he scans guilty (as Miller or Scum) then he has incentive to post actively in case a scan happens. He waited 'til halfway through the day to claim Miller, waiting until after everyone else had had ample time to check in and no one else claimed. The neighbor trio validates Corrik somewhat, but the suspicion between the trio means they will never be hard confirmed as town. This all paints a scenario where a scum Corrik could actually make a deep run, having scan "protection" and not being night killed as town because there's a reasonable suspicion on his name because of the neighbor stuff.

That plus the putting Ctes on his town list with little reason pop up to me as tentatively Corrik/Ctes as scum? Possibly Sultan/Death in there with Death annoyed at inactive Ctes and Sultan, but Corrik actually putting in a little effort for him so Death isn't playing solo? This is full tinhat theory mode and I acknowledge that, just kind of spit-balling where my re-read took me.
