That's my ending, and I respect it as what can be the only way to stop the other ending from being the actual ending.
Agreed that the show was generally best early on. Neutralizing Josh for awhile made me feel like the show lost its core purpose for a bit too long -- good to stray away sometimes, sure, just didn't work as well for me here. Still plenty of good little moments, songs, punchlines, and awkward looking around while waiting for the commercial break to kick in. The overall arcs just weakened over time.
