Huh this one is actually tough as they are pretty similar (unless I am missing some things that Berserk and Resident Evil buffs can fill in). Both screwed over their allies and tried to change the world to rule over who remained in the aftermath (though in Griffith's case that was more it getting blown up by behelit/eclipse stuff as he just wanted to rule his own kingdom).

On one hand, if I recall right, Griffith's dream was sorta more noble than Wesker's and he got fucked over harder by the jerkass king after his bit with the princess (albeit likely only happening due to his salt over Guts bailing). Griffith's actions fucked up the world but he at least made a utopia for everyone who could get there and he does seem to care about his subjects (even if only in a possessions sorta way). Meanwhile Wesker wanted to mass purge the planet with tentacle virus so only those like him who could handle it would survive, and he likely didn't really care about those people either outside of lording over him as "the most superior". His plan was kind of nuttier compared to Griffith's.

...buuuuuut Wesker didn't go sexually raping Chris' girlfriend right in front of him like Griffith/Femto did with Guts...Though Wesker DID control Jill and had her try to murder Chris...Raping a girl stupid vs turning a girl into slave and make her try killing em...

Plus there is the whole causality/fate bullshit from the god hand which is a big thing in the Berserk setting so Griffith was sorta fucked from the get go with the behelit and by extension everything else. Does that detract from Griffith's overall evilness then?
