Topic	Why do horror movies have such shitty sequels?

It usually takes more effort to make people think or laugh than to jump because you shouted BOO loudly. Good gore is an art, and takes a fair amount of effort and creativity. But yes, jumpscare horror is cringe, and you can thank garbage like paranormal activity or the conjuring for its modern prevalence. --- I'm a girl.
