Topic	What Pokemon should I use on my playthrough of Pokemon Fire Red?

Can't find it. Playing the other games in the meantime. My teams on these games are pretty boring. It's usually Venusaur, Pidgeot, Snorlax and some HM drones. Venusaur is a lock but I'd like to try some different Pokemon along the way. I've been meaning to actually train and use the Lapras they give you in Silph Co.
