BOST nominations have ended so I can go back to doing this. I'll try to listen to at least one of these songs a day from now on, even on busy days.

Unfortunately, I've read every comment posted in here, so my judgment of Brand New is tainted going into Handcuffs. I'll try to be as objective as possible, but sorry in advance if I don't enjoy this as much as I should. Anyway ... This song goes right into it, huh? Some real quiet intensity we have here. I love music that's like ... subtly scary like this. Like you can still zone out to it. I still managed to enjoy this one quite a bit.

Rainforest Collapse III is really cool. The super weird spacey intro was my favourite section, but despite liking the beginning more than the middle and end, this was still a satisfying listen. I will definitely check out the rest of this album.

Holy fuck End of the Line is so gloomy, but not in a way that feels like a drag. A feat for a song that clocks at just over 9 minutes long. It managed not to feel that length either, though I guess I could have done without the fade out ending. As this is a concept album, I'll withhold my judgment if it makes more sense in-context, but I usually don't like em!

Never realised how inspirational Scatman (ski-ba-bop-ba-dop-bop) is. Whoops. Like my guy took his stutter and turned it into an absolute banger. What a legend. What a chad. And the thing is, the song is also really fucking great in a feel good way. Love it. Definitely a great one to revisit.

What the fuck I actually like TOUSOU (Run Away)... Like really really like!!! I was worried this was gonna be a fusion of different things I really dislike (Japanese female vocalists can be hit or miss), but somehow ... it's fun??? Idk if it's just the novelty of seeing irl anime girls growl like grown men or what - but it was great. It was fun. I hope these ladies continue to find success.
