It especially clashes here because the melody and backing instrumentation dont really feel like a natural fit. Like, its just standard JRPG fare with some opera singer layered on top, which makes it go from fine to bad. Sorry, this one was hard to get through. Popping in to say, as a former opera singer and current opera enthusiast, Daughter of the Dark God's singer is absolute dogshit. Good placement. --- E come vivo?
