I guess the hope here is that Konami is willing to throw everything at the wall and just let it ride?

Of course I really don't have a lot of faith in the Re:Verse team to make a good Silent Hill game regardless of Ryukishi's involvement, lol. As far as I'm aware he's never worked on a game you actually play, so I doubt he's even part of that side of the process.
