Hannibal is a serial killer, and a murderer. But he has standards. Also keeping in mind that he was fed his sister (whom he loved) by the Nazis and yeah... understandable why he's a bit fucked up. Also why he detests Nazis and Pedophiles. He also cares in his own way for Clarice.
