Topic	Anyone got an recommendations for a good surge protector?

I have pretty frequent power outages during spring months since it storms a lot and have never had real issues other than the power being out, just make sure it has an adequate joule rating, like 4000+ or something. Just, if you have power surges or outages often, make sure to replace them every few years cus the protection won't last forever. UPS might be overkill, I'd personally only find one useful to have time to save documents/projects/whatever in the event of an outage (that said, a UPS will generally provide better surge protection than something that is only a surge protector. generally, not always) have you tried other outlets or tried other power cables, btw? --- waffles, pancakes, eggs, or both? <cite>BucketCat posted [p:976804370] in Anyone got...
