Scorsese literally scrapped his original script precisely because he realized it had too much of a written by a white person slant and then literally gave the Osage tribe creative control on telling their own narrative and perspective from the side who suffered during the Rein of Terror.

The Osage tribe had a very heavy hand in directly dictating the storytelling of this.

I don't get this info from only Scorcese, I also get it from a member of the Osage tribe who talked with elders and tribe members who were a part of this.

no way dude. martin scorsese only cares about awards. as if he hasn't already won them before along with heaps of other critical adulation over the past 45 years. and might not even be able to make another movie so rather than make a grand final statement as an artist he just wants awards.
