My uncle fell in with them pretty hard. He was married for like 20 years, then it came out that his wife was both abusive and completely batshit insane. Beat him, beat the kids, etc. Once they split, not only did she get with a guy who was just as awful to the kids as she was, but she fuckin fleeced gim in divorce court, scored their house, majority of custody of the kids, alimony, plus a big stake in my uncle's business (she was a stay at home mom). Took years of court battles for my uncle to wrangle custody of just the youngest kid (the others had hit 18 by then) and by then a ton of damage had been done.

And he fell in super fucking hard with the Andrew Tates and the MGTOW shitlords almost immediately after. Tons of their crap all over his social media, constantly bitching about women in general at family things, even tried to talk me out of marrying my now wife more than once.

Such a shame. He was a really cool guy, when I was younger. Hope his ex rots in hell.

Nah, my girl wouldn't do that. I don't think. But man I've just heard so many bad marriage stories.
