Topic	I hate when people say cooking is a "basic life skill"

As in I'm not a degenerate and I can make eggs, mac and cheese, flip a burger, make an instant soup etc, but if we're talking something that actually takes skill like a roast, I'd rather not. I can do more or less literally everything else. Chores, handyman stuff, anything that isn't expert level. But yeah, I'm useless if I can't cook.
