It sounds silly to even have hope at finding a genuine connection or love at this point. I know it comes off as a little pathetic. You just have to accept that as you get older, the dating scene changes. If you cant adjust your expectations to the new reality, Im not sure what to say. Single, mid 30s women with no kids looking to date are going to be few and far between. --- If you're not getting promoted, it's not because you're not good at your job.
