Topic	why are there ki blasts in dragon ball z
Ratchetrockon 10/29/23 9:16:12 AM #6:	they can dodge and parry them but prob not faster than ki blast in a straight line. kinda like how baseball players can bat a ball going 90 mph but cant run that fast. im pretty sure dbz characters were all significantly sub-light speed tbh. i just remember gotenks taking 30 mins to travel around the planet a few dozen times. if he was lightspeed it would have been like 12,000 laps around the planet. 1000 dozen but i wouldn't consider that a "few dozen". gotenks prob meant like 500 laps max or something. what y'all think? ki blast should be close to lightspeed based on how fast they travel to the moon in both db and early dbz. --- I'm a Taurus.
