This is nonsense as a response to what I said. Here, let me dumb it down.

You go to a restaurant. The meal you order is $20. You're expected to tip, so you tip 20%, bringing your total to $24.

You go to a restaurant. The meal you order is $24 because you aren't expected to tip, and the restaurant charges more and pays the server an appropriate wage (Realistically the employer pays the server minimum wage and pockets the additional revenue).

In both scenarios you're paying the same amount. The only real difference is that in your preferred scenario the employee will almost certainly make less.
