the audacity to tell people trying to use their only political bargaining chip to stop US taxpayer money from massacring civilians they are "short sighted". Shut the fuck up. They don't want to vote or they want to for for a Republican. It is short sighted and against their current and future interest based on what actual Republican political members are saying. Republicans have been far more hawkish against Palestine than Democrats. They can abstain from voting next year if they truly feel they must based on their conscious. But it risks having a Republican in office and no chance for a democratic president until 2028. That's the tradeoff and it's ultimately up to them to make that tradeoff. And yes, it is short sighted. But hell, maybe they think this will make future Democrat presidents (in 2028) and later be less friendly to Israel, so hell, they might be looking into the future more than I'm assuming.
